Mission Statement
|
The purpose of this organization shall be:
- To incubate and stimulate love of our country and our flag
- To defend the honor, integrity and supremacy of out national government and the Constitution of the United States
- To advocate military forces adequate to the defense of our country
- To perpetuate and honor the memory of our famous ship
- To foster fraternal relations between members and keep them informed by means of informal newsletters
- To arrange a suitable site for meetings and reunions at such times as the Board of Directors dictate
- To unite and perpetuate the USS Minneapolis (CA-36) Assoication

Membership
|
- Regular Members: Men that served on board the USS Minneapolis (CA-36) at any time during the period May 1934 -
May 1946; annual dues $10.00
- Honorary Members: Will be offered to widows of deceased regular members; dues will not be required
(but gladly accepted)
- Associate Members: Will be offered to sons, daughters, or grandchildren of deceased members,
or ceratin individuals in recognition of their services to the nation, the Navy or to this organization; dues will be that of regular
members $10.00
